House used in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – For Sale

The home used for some key scenes in the John Hughes’ classic 80s camp film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is for sale.

Located in Highland Park, Illinois – the Ben Rose Home is very far from Montana but still worth a post. The scene of the infamous 1961 Ferrari crashing through the window in reverse at Cameron’s dad’s place was filmed here. Stacked like a childhood memory in my mind, there’s something about this mid-century house that has always appealed to me.

Price cut on September 7 – Asking $1.375 Million.

Amazingly, the agent that has this listed has not put into the public comments that it appeared in the film – guessing someone might have just purchased it more quickly if they’d really outlined the history of the home. Marketing, Marketing, Marketing.

Address: 370 Beech Street, Highland Park, IL.

Watch the oh so innocent start of the eventual deadly fate of the Ferrari below. So Classic!
